Country Living, Inc.
ABOUT
Visionaries led by Marie Wyckoff, a local pharmacist, recognized a need for affordable housing
and health care choices for seniors allowing them to stay independent and remain in the community.
With a loan from the Kansas Department of Aging and generous local donations,
Country Living, Inc. opened in 2003. That loan has been paid in full.
Country Living is debt free and does not receive any tax support.
In 2025, Country Living was awarded a significant grant to update
apartments, common areas, HVAC, and plumbing. The remodeling process has begun.
Memberships with a one-time donation of $100 provides community involvement and oversight.
The Board of Directors is elected annually at the membership meeting in May.
